A modern clinic, green space and a medical and university campus. A proposal to plan this location’s future together, centred on patients’ needs.
We propose public and expert consideration of a new, modern Psychiatry Clinic at the current location, connected to a medical and university campus. Patients, their privacy and recovery should be the starting point for its design.
Accessibility, safety, calm, therapeutic green space, sufficient outdoor areas and good working conditions for staff should be explicit parts of the future solution.
We call for publication of relevant permits, technical information and measurements. A long-term solution should be selected through expert analysis of low-emission systems and their total costs.
The public should be able to follow the project from financing to actual occupation: who leads each step, which document is missing, what funds are available and what deadlines are realistic.
We propose open expert discussion with patients and their representatives, healthcare workers, institutions, the University and citizens. Proposals deserve public, reasoned responses.
Our starting point
Dignified care matters to patients, families, healthcare workers and the wider community. Healthy air and lawfully managed space also matter to people living nearby. These interests can be pursued together.
Public sources also contain plans for a new clinic on Paprikovac. Our proposal for the current location is the initiative’s position; its feasibility requires planning, medical, legal and technical assessment. We do not present it as an adopted institutional decision or project.
